This site is built to be read, not to profile you. We serve the content from a standard web server, which records routine technical logs such as the requesting IP address, browser type and the page requested. These logs keep the site working and help us spot faults. They are not used for advertising or to build profiles.
We do not set marketing or advertising cookies. The only cookies you may see come from third-party services we use for fonts and styling, and these are limited to what those services need to function. We have no analytics account harvesting your data for commercial purposes.
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use those details only to reply to you. We do not sell them, share them for marketing, or add you to a mailing list without asking. Messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Articles link to external sources. Once you leave this site, the privacy practices of those websites apply, not ours. We recommend you check their policies if you are concerned.
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can reach us through the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
