About Arsenault

Arsenault is an independent resource about enterprise resource planning transformation. We write about the uncomfortable middle of the work: the data that is messier than the sales deck suggested, the custom code no one remembers writing, the go-live weekend that runs long.

The site exists because most information on legacy ERP migration is published by vendors who are selling the replacement. That material is not wrong exactly, but it is a confident and tidy version of a process that is, in practice, complicated and expensive.

We have spent our careers inside large and mid-market ERP programmes, mostly SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics, on the consultant side and the client side. We have seen firm-wide roll-outs succeed and watched single-module upgrades stall. The articles here come from that work, not from a content calendar.

We do not sell software, do not run a consultancy, and do not take commissions from vendors. The site is funded, for now, by nothing more than the belief that honest notes are useful to someone.
